ABOUT

"Impressionism is like capturing a daydream on canvas—where every brushstroke whispers"

- Brooke Andrus -

My name is Brooke Andrus

Born and raised in Maine, with the ocean as my backyard, I’ve always been captivated by the beauty of the coast. The rhythm of the waves, the fresh ocean breeze, and the ever-changing colors of the sea have left an indelible mark on me. After living up and down the East Coast of the U.S., I eventually found myself on the West Coast, and today I call Oregon home. But no matter where I go, the call of the coastline is something I can’t resist.

Traveling is another passion of mine—whether exploring the rugged cliffs of Maine or the serene shores of the Pacific Northwest, I take my camera with me to capture moments of natural beauty. These images often inspire my oil paintings, where I translate the colors, light, and energy of a scene onto canvas.

I’ve spent my life immersed in the arts, earning degrees in Fine Arts, Pastry Arts, and Graphic Design, each contributing to my creative journey. Oil painting, though, has become my favorite way to express my love of art and the world’s beauty. My work focuses on capturing the essence of nature—especially the coastlines that draw me in time and time again.

Through Brooke Andrus Fine Arts, I hope to share that same sense of wonder and connection with the natural world. Thank you for joining me on this artistic journey!
